What are some companies/teams( AWS, azure) where you get a chance to work on actual distributed systems
Of course everything is distributed now a days in a way though most of it's is abstracted away.so which are some companies where you end up applying theories of paxos, Lamport timestamp or 3 phase commits ? In case of AWS/Azure/Facebook/ Google which specific teams?
S3 is definitely the largest distributed storage system(s) in the world. Would surprise me if it’s the largest distributed system as well.
I’m 100% sure azure blob storage is bigger than s3
Not sure if it is true (about Azure). I often hear people (outside of Amazon) using S3, but don’t hear much about Azure blob.
