Looking for recommendations from folks who are stock exchange pros on what are some good stocks to invest in. I sold some stock options and have about 5-10k that i can invest.
Looking to invest
Just put it in VOO, VGT or any low cost index fund. No point of buying a single stock with this amount
VOO has been good to me
Put your money in ETFs. You own shares in multiple companies and you hedge your bets. Personally I recommend FDVV at a minimum. High dividend, great returns. (I’m using Fidelity btw). Others: FSELX, FSCSX, FSMEX and FSPHX
I like FDVV because of dividends and also being ETF. The problem with mutual funds is that I cannot put a trailing stop loss order while ETF allows it. Do you know the ETF equivalents of FSELX, FSMEX and FSPHX?
Fidelity doesn’t have ETFs for those but there are plenty. Here is a good tool to check. Then you can do research on them in whatever platform you want. They seem to follow the same trends: https://etfdb.com/tool/mutual-fund-to-etf/
Can’t get any hotter than these right now tbh. SUN, BEAM, FIRE, BOIL, HOT, FLAME, MAGMA, LIT, SALSA, CHEATO
Pot stocks, solar stocks
What are the hot weed stocks? I read weed is getting approved at the federal level.

Are you looking to really invest or are you going to check it every day?
Can't we do both? Just have to control you emotions in down swings and remind yourself you are in it for the long haul
Invest and don’t look, trading you can look at it and plan accordingly. I just hear a lot of people say they want to invest and they sell at the first sign of a drop.
