What are the best books on the applications of blockchain?
Looking for reading that deals more with the practicality and business use cases of blockchain for some project ideas.
There are none because there are no practical uses for blackchains outside of illegal markets.
The first 2 customer use cases listed provide no details whatsoever in how it is being used. The third actually links to a paper which describes a prototype, not actual usage. I wouldn't consider that a practical use case (if it were, it wouldn't be a prototype)
The crazy investment frenzy not withstanding crypto currencies and associated technologies like blockchain are here to stay. I don't expect to see them overthrow governments or eliminate poverty but they will definitely improve commerce with their manpower efficiencies to offer to the financial sector. Also if you do an online search you will find a number of well funded startups building on blockchain based technologies.

Just what I was looking for, thank you! I really enjoyed Vitalik's insightful excerpt in the beginning and it's cool that the book is authored by a dude who's been deep in the business side of tech through the birth of the Internet, P2P, and now blockchain, whose motive for writing the book is to emphasize business clarity and useful applications. Looking forward to reading this one.
