The end of Backdoor Roth?!
I'm considering #Bloomberg as an option, but I saw some trading restrictions if I work there. Could anybody expand on that?
Is it true for family member, say employee spouse?
Yes. You have to enroll your family's accounts in your employer's monitoring system so they can see all your transactions.
You also have to disclose all brokerage accounts for you and direct fam and sign them up for auto reporting so then someone in HR can nanny each and every transaction.
Woah, wtf.
Can’t do most derivatives trading (options, futures), no day trading(buying and selling same security in the same day). If you buy a stock, you need to hold it for 30 days before selling it for profit. No short selling. You do not need to inform anyone before you buy or sell a security.
