Curious how mine stacks up with others. Add your status. Me, wife, kid. Mortgage/ins/prop tax: 3400 Car payment: 300 Fuel: 200 Preschool: 1400 Groceries: 400 Water/gas/elect/trash: 250 Phone/cable/internet: 250 Misc-eating out, etc: 300 About 6500/month. Im barely getting by.

Mortgage, Taxes, Insurance: $2450 Car Payments: $905 Groceries: $800 Utilities (Gas, Electric, Water, Trash): $200 Phones: $200 Cable/Internet: $105 Car Insurance: $170 Fuel: $200 Subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, some games): $75 Misc shopping: $300 Pets: $100 Alcohol: $75 Eating out: $200 So that's $5,600 between me, my SO and 2 dogs. We get by fine, but we both work and my income covers all expenses.
