Is domain knowledge and proficiency in language needed for reviewing code or can any good engineer review any code in any language? What are your thoughts? TC:129K
if tesla goons were good engineers they wouldnt be at a company that pays 🥜
It's the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Not to mention, Twitter actually has state of the art distributed systems at planet scale; that's a problem that Tesla has never had to solve - so Tesla engineers would have no clue. They're such different companies that it's not even funny.
I love it
Understanding business requirements is more important than language in review. Who cares if you got the syntax right if it's doing the wrong thing. In that sense it's a bad idea. Embedded infotainment devs reviewing ad targeting code won't work.
Sounds like Tesla executive leadership overstaffed the company and knows it. 🤡 CEO
Imagine thinking you're all smarter than the highest net worth man who runs over 4 businesses and have sold 2 major companies
Bongo !
Imagine believing Elon's success is all due to intelligence, instead of a combination of privilege, luck, and lack of moral or ethical limitations. It seems like most Elon-stans project the narcissism they want to hold for themselves, onto their object of worship because he's what they want to be (including the part where they pretend his extreme financial success is greater proof of individual merit, rather than of a rare combination of both will and opportunity to abuse inherent flaws in our social systems).
Tesla engineers are there to learn how to write good code. It is just that Elon is shameful to admit that.
Who cares 🤔?
