I have finally had it with Wells Fargo, it's one of the worst banks ever. They open accounts without permission, charge shady fees and their customer service rivals Comcast. What banks do you all use for checking and savings? Not that it matters but since this is blind, TC is 700k Edit ----- For anyone looking at this post, based on the comments below here's the tl;dr - Big banks recommended by multiple commenters: Chase, Capital One, BoA and Schwab Credit unions: Ally, SFCU, KPCU Other options: Citibank, HSBC, Discover, Fidelity and Vanguard money market, First Republic
Chase
Capital one
What's a good credit union with a decent app and online service (other than Alliant)?
SFCU
Kpcu
Ally
Bank of America
Why BoA? I would have thought it's as bad as Wells Fargo, so I'm curious.
2.625% cash back on all categories, decent customer support, ok mobile app
Ally. Also have an account at Chase for those rare instances where I need to deposit cash.
Ally
Schwab for no fee international atm, boa for everything else
Vanguard money market instead of savings account
Charles Schwab
A local credit union. Chase is less evil if you want a big bank.
