I know Airbnb does, their policy would be ideal for me. Airbnb will let you work internationally for up to 90 days, and is remote besides that. https://news.airbnb.com/airbnbs-design-to-live-and-work-anywhere/ They don’t appear to be hiring anything under staff engineer. Any other companies that do this? I’m young and single, I want to be able to go work in Paris for a month if I feel like it. Thanks Blind #remote #nomad
Workday has a 60 day work from out of the country policy where we have an office (Paris and Tokyo come to mind) Also implementing an additional 30 day work from anywhere policy to throw into the mix. This augments our strict 50% hybrid requirement but a fun little perk. Idk any companies where you can be a true digital nomad unless you lie about your location.
So you need to be in office 2.5 days though? Thanks for the info I’ll check it out
Yup. Probably not what you’re looking for but companies offer some unknown perks that you can take advantage of Atlassian is fully remote and has similar policies
Square
Interesting, I literally just met an ex Amazonian who’s with square now. They’ve got an office near me. Thanks for the info
Can you elaborate on Square’s policy? I was in final rounds with them at one point but wasn’t the strongest hire (definitely panicked and blew one round). Was just looking at a CashApp position which I imagine is still under that Block policy.

Twitch
Don’t have to follow Amazons RTO?
Twitch is not impacted by Amazon RTO. Twitch also has unlimited PTO instead of amazons limited PTO
You could just use a VPN and lie about your lcoation. But of course your risk termination.
Yeah I’d rather it just be above board. I wouldn’t be anywhere over 2 months
Remote startups. I’m doing this in Greece for 2 months next year. There are caveats though, if you work directly with government stuff or health data it may not be doable, but ymmv. I’m interviewing and ensure this is possible while interviewing.
What are the websites to find such kind of remote startups ??
@cohesity I’ve typically gotten my jobs from my network or recruiters (or founders) on LI. Angel list jobs used to be good but now it’s a talent network thing called Wellfound that I’ve gotten some contacts with but not much. Hacker News’ monthly jobs thread is a good source too.
Appfolio. Tradeoff is low tc.
