What companies do you consider to be tier 1?
It seems like the general tier 1 companies here are Google, FB, Netflix and maybe Uber or some other top unicorn. What other companies are conceited tier 1? Note: Amazon doesn’t count event though it’s in FANG lol no one wants to willingly work there

This is not true. LinkedIn perks are separate, and the average pay is not only higher due to the adjusted CoL. You can compare it to Microsoft salaries in the bay area and it's still higher.

Prestige + pay + perks. You can walk into any random place in the the US and if you say you work at Google/Fb people will be wow’d. Can’t say the same for other companies
