Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
This is a broad question. Are you talking premium markets or non premium too. Are you talking Engg or Non Engg too?
Thanks for pointing it out. No one is paying 600k in Europe. Need to specify market.
Just answer the god damn question
Stripe I heard is weird, they give you the number of stock that will keep your compensation steady. So if the stock grows you get less number vested, while if it goes down you will get more.
No upside in joining over public faang then right? The whole point on taking on limited exit opportunity is the upside in unvested RSU.
The only advantage I see is that you can start “investing” in Stripe before they IPO.
coinbase
Salesforce (At Arch+ which is high-end 6 equivalent) Lyft Splunk (senior principal) Twilio (senior principal) Linkedin (senior staff)
How is senior staff or senior principal l6
title names don't matter...you'll get leveled to what your skill set is
Nvidia might if SW and if you’ve a competing offer
No. Nvidia Will top out at around 500k, unless it’s an ai/ml role.
Seems like VMware Senior Staff or Principal can reach that amount (levels.fyi). But stock growth has been lackluster past 2-3 years. That’s L7/L8 though.
If 600K is already achievable by L5 after last year’s stock appreciation, which company can pay 700K+ for L6?
But the numbers won’t hold after cliff. That’s when you interview :)
Twitter? (I know you work there) Instacart Lyft
Coinbase. but I wouldn’t recommend it due to bad HR and people Ops policies. They’re Trying to make it amazon with 4x the PIPs
No way, is it really worse than Amazon?
Coinbase doesn't negotiate anymore. I thought L6 offer at coinbase was straight up 528k TC.
