I've always had the impression Google pays the most. My total comp at FB was 225k when I got hired (had 2 years experience) and am now at 275k with my RSU refresher after being here for a year. Didn't include sign on bonuses. How do these numbers compare to other companies? I've heard rumors Uber is paying more than FB
225k in cash at 2 years ? I need to interview at FB
Are these for engineering positions??
Yeah sorry I forgot to clarify engineering positions
Compensation will vary. Uber will likely pay a slightly lower salary, but an insanely high stock package. You are taking on risk so that makes sense. FB won't match that, they don't need to. Netflix is also an interesting model. Forget the stocks and vesting. They just go straight cash for most of their candidates. I have senior engineering friends in the mid 300's or more, salary.
Insanely stock = ~1.5x ... Not quite insane
235k(base+sign on bonus + RSU) engineer with 5.5 years exp...
wow. I interned there and was offered 105+20, which was pretty low for new grads according to the industry standards.
You guys don't have free food :(
341 (base+sign on+RSU) engineer with 6 years.
130k (base + sign on + RSU) engineer with 6 years experience
Mid 400K total.
Uber shares are illiquid AFAIK
More like illiquid AF
Thank you Mr/Ms PLTR.
