What constitutes bro culture

Who hates it bro?

If you work to live and don’t live to work, you are part of bro culture. Find your passion and make that your job. Don’t work something random so support your passion on the side. Bro culture degrades the overall quality of the industry because it fills it with people who are not passionate and therefore not skilled. Of course some people are passionate and unskilled that make the unpassionate people look skilled in comparison. Don’t let that fool you. The only actual skilled ones have to be passionate.

Bros were our nemesis in high school.

My understanding is that tech bros are basically frat boys who work in software engineering. These guys lift, go out and party, get laid, but they also code for a living. Because of their lifestyle they likely aren’t the best developers because they don’t spend their free time learning new things. Some of them can be very cocky and obnoxious. Also some of them are very sexist/misogynistic. So those might be some of the main reasons people dislike bro culture.

Ok here is my take on bro culture. Correct me if I’m wrong. Tech bros work hard and play hard. They grind LC get into top companies. Work hard there as well. Do whatever it takes to get the work done and get good ratings. The difference from others is that tech bros pay importance to fitness as well. Thay grind in the gym as well and are in good shape. While they are not always partying and having fun they do get laid and party but not excessively. They dont have time for serious relationships and kids. They are goal oriented. Trade stocks and take care of personal finance to hit net worth goals by a certain age
