I know we get Thanksgiving and Christmas. Do we get Martin Luther King day off?
6days New year Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Thursday Christmas Day
I was about to say “Um, do aws employees get different holidays than the rest of amazon?” Lol
I'm not sure it is specific to Cali but we get 3 more - Christmas Eve, new year's Eve and another one I can't remember
Don’t all engineers at Amazon get the same 6 holidays? 😂 AWS is no special I think!
Actually correcting myself. All employees!
If you're in California, you get 9 holidays and 3 floating holidays. Most other places get 6 holidays and 6 floating holidays.
Amazon is well below average here.
Yep.
It's a pinprick. Amazon is death by 1000 pinpricks
Depends on the location, generally the minimum allowed by law
One day for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas? And people will argue that it’s not a sweatshop... 🍆
In California it's the standard two and two
LOL. You have to work tomorrow?
In Europe we get 25 holidays each year + 9 bank holidays and each time you're on call if you get paged you get half a day off as TOIL.
Woah! (Works in Seattle, US)
Not surprising! I bet in Canada you also get more holidays + more days off because of country rules.
T-Mobile has 11 holdiays
6 days? lol wtf.
