Hi I’ve worked at a Tier-1 automotive parts supplier for 3yrs and looking to make my first career change (hopefully aerospace industry but not sure if possible since im not a citizen). Anyways, I just joined blind and people seem to use an alphabet and number to describe the level of positions but I couldn’t find anywhere what these mean. Please advise? Thanks a lot!
those refer to levels in a company. Typically L3 is new grad. L5 is Senior. But it changes depending on company such as L4 at amazon is new grad.
Thanks! Are these jargons that are usually only used in tech industry?? I though I’ve seen letters other than “L” too..
L stands for level. L6 is same as SDE3 at Amazon which is senior engineer
