    Treat yourself to a holiday, get premium experiences. Materialistic things don’t give u the same joy as experiences do.

      "Experiences" are as material as things. Just slightly subtle.

      Shouldn’t you prefer to spend money on DESCO funds?

      Too many eggs in one basket. I already have my deferred and all of my pay tied to those funds, not looking to increase the exposure.

      Also, returns on hedge fund investments (generally) get taxed as regular income every year. I’m not a pension fund, so the after-tax returns are much less exciting. So yeah, not investment advice, but we’re basically sitting on a bunch of VTSAX, VTIAX, and VNYUX in the after-tax accounts.

      Finally, the reason I prefer Vanguard to other MF companies is their arrangement where they avoid paying out cap gains in the mutual funds, so their MFs are as tax efficient as the ETFs.

    . You gamble, you are in a glorious spot, there is one heck of a chance you may win back, not to mention the enjoyment and time you get to pass..

      To all those people confused about how he can pay rent on 36k, its called a SHARED house. You can often get rooms for 800 dollars (per month) or less.

      Yo if you could get Capital One to stop sending me mail every 2 weeks that would be great. I don’t even bank with them. I’ve called to unsubscribe 3 times and they still keep coming.

    C++ or bust
    Things don’t bring me joy anymore.
    But my cleaning service, task dry cleaning, yoga classes and Uber rides do.
    The rest I save or donate.
