What do you think about Uber's future with the new CEO from Expedia?
Surprised that no discussion here so far, so here it is. The move looks quite promising to me. How do Uber employees feel about it?

Dara is the perfect fit for us and we are looking to go onwards and upwards.
The Tech Lounge section has a lot of threads on it. I haven't seen much in Topics section. The choice is great for uber. TK and Uber has been messing up their corporate image for a long time, and #deleteuber was the final straw that really fucked them over whether that specific event was fair or not. All uber had to do is sit on their 90/10 share lead, and thanks to #deleteuber and other controversies, it's now 75/25. Dara seems like a good safe choice for them to stop the bleeding at least.
Dara will challenge the culture and the company to improve, in an affable but firm way.
#deleteuber was ridiculous. To this day, only a few news outlets point out that it was all a misunderstanding. TK had zero to do with that.
