I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
I'm thinking about getting AWS, GCP, and Azure certs. Also other IT certs like Red Hat, Comptia, OffSec, Oracle Java, etc.... #tech #certs #linux #solutionarchitect 0
Certs are for help desk grunts and companies that contract with the government. I’d only get a cert if my employer were paying for it and paying for me to study on the clock.
Get aws certified to join aws. Otherwise meh
As a Red Hat Certified Architect at Red Hat, it’s not worth it outside of the continuous learning aspect. They can’t even pay their own correctly or properly
I’m in IT and don’t make a lot of money. I feel like the comptia certs I’ve gotten have gotten me less than zero career benefit. It does not seem like hiring managers care about comptia and if they do it’s probably a red flag. Me personally I am going for offsec OSCP next because it is actually respected and passing it means something.
If cybersecurity is the direction you're heading, passing OSCP is definitely gonna turn heads.
I hope so, sec+, net+ and azure fundamentals mainly get the heads to turn away from me lol
