I came accoss a role which would manage a team of strategic account managers. The title is Manager, Strategic Account Management. It’s a “team lead” role. If you would be managing managers, shouldn’t this role be called Director, Strategic Account Management? Are the two roles the same? Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thank you! @postmates #sales #account management

“Account Manager” is a fancy title for for Sales Rep. So, this role will be leading a team of sales people. Account Managers are not real managers. The role has common names such as Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Specialist .. etc.
