Here’s a dumb question… What do Google, Microsoft, and Apple’s competitors use for email, spreadsheets etc? I work at Microsoft and we have Android apps and iOS apps, and clearly we don’t have company cars, but what do companies like Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia, IBM, Meta, etc. use for email and spreadsheets? Does every company build their own system rather than use another company’s productivity software? TC: 200K YOE: 5
Of course Google uses gmail and Google Workspace.
Amazon uses Office/Office 365/Quip/Windows/MacBooks I mean pretty much everything
Yeah exactly I mean we don’t make productivity software like everyone else. We’re just focused on selling books and the cloud lol I take that back: we have chime for meetings and it blows
I don’t think these details matter. Majority still use outlook and gmail, why reinvent the wheel?
Hey now, don’t forget about Lotus Notes
Outlook
And Office
We don’t use office 360. And we do have a homegrown tool for meetings called Chime.
