What % get cut at Meta boot camp? I know it varies by level and hiring needs. "Boot camp" refers to onboarding and your first project or two. I know that certain companies who shall not be named used to target 30% of new grads being cut in their 30ish day boot camp. (No name company, not Amazon and not Meta).
Wtf nobody gets cut in bootcamp
The ones with down syndrome
Nobody
Literally no one. Back when bootcamp was team matching you’d get cut after like 4 months if you still didn’t have a team. But now that you team match there is no way you get fired unless you clearly can’t perform in the role at all.
Whose fault is the lack of a match? I can see somebody being too picky and waiting for a better team that never materializes.
There are always teams looking and you get a bootcamp mentor to help with picking a team.
Meta's bootcamp was pretty chill when I did it. It's onboarding, doing a few tickets for various teams, and finding your team. It usually lasts like 4-8 weeks
This question is so dumb that OP might be the first in Meta history to get laid off during bootcamp

Principal Software Engineer TC~300K at Microsoft vs 600K at Meta. Is 300k pretty low for Principal scope?
Damn. Is there a target % to cut during onboarding? Or it’s truly bad hires who cannot ramp up getting cut?
