What has Square done with Tidal in the 2 and half years since buying it?

Just curious as a former Square employee who likes to learn about and discuss the business side of the tech industry. (I left Square sometime after the acquisition) I think most people at Square including myself saw the acquisition as Jack doing a favor to Jay-Z or as a way of getting Jay-Z on the board. I was always curious to see if Jack would prove me wrong and execute the story/vision he told about economically empowering music artists.

Sorry unrelated question - I saw that if you transfer internally from Tidal to Square or Cash App, you have to do a full interview loop like you were coming from outside the company. So are the interview processes for each Block subsidiary different?

Cash App and Square have their own separate hiring pipelines and recruiters. I'm not sure whether you need a full interview loop to transfer from one to the other though. I assumed that hiring manager chat is all that was needed.

Does Square and Cash have same recruiting cycle. If one were to transfer internally between the teams, would I have to do the loop again!
