Damn, ya'll are greedy. 😂

Google mylar87 OP Apr 28

It seems most will never be happy.

Netflix happilyold Apr 28

You assume people tie happiness to income Our household income is about 1.2M but honestly $ stopped being a contributing factor to happiness /unhappiness at ~400K

Citibank Aardvark5! Apr 28

300k passive

VMware jQsK21 Apr 28

300k passive is my target too. Figure I need 1M+ for a few years to get there

Airbnb sardonn Apr 29

300 passive is 180 after taxes in CA. For that you need a NW of 2.2M post taxes. You can get there in 10 years with 300k salary easily.

Microsoft Lebi03 Apr 28

I don’t think I will be happy with even 10m because I have forgotten how to be happy.

Dropbox dropitlike Apr 28

But with 1m+ I can down my Prozac with reserve Hennessy every night

Dragos zvrq50 Apr 28

It's not the income, it's the net worth.

Microsoft nyx_new_ph Apr 28

As much as possible

Airbnb DYLY82 Apr 29

Not a clear poll because it doesn't include anything about job security. My TC threshold is much lower if I can guarantee it for the rest of my career. But in this age of layoffs, I need to double or triple that to compensate for lack of job security.

Airbnb sardonn Apr 29

No you don’t. What’s your fire number?

Airbnb DYLY82 Apr 30

$7M
