What is the Airbnb IPO date?
Got an Airbnb interview opportunity, on-site probably has to be early December or late November, since I need time to prepare. Will Airbnb have already IPOed by then? #ipo

Yeah, 2021 is actually ideal for me if things go well, but ipo and possible financial downside of joining later is concerning. Anyway you are right, 2020 isnāt possible given I am on H1B,
how do airbnb stock options work? If I were to interview asap and get an offer before the IPO date but start after the IPO date, would the offer be valued at the pre-IPO or post-IPO price?
If you get an offer before IPO then itās pre-ipo. If you get an offer itās post-ipo. Companies can change ipo price many times up till the big day.
I see, thanks. I saw elsewhere that Airbnb gives the offers in dollar amount, but I guess it's just the current valuation of the RSUs instead of the target amount? in any case, good luck, hope it turns out well for yall

Even if you join early, you may not get a pre-ipo price. Your offer will have an amount and it will convert to units after you join.

Maybe. But if Biden wins, there will be a huge downfall bear market and IPO in a bear market is hard. Honestly I donāt get Airbnbās logic to wait post election
