Some background: I've been in QA on multiple projects in multiple industries for about 8 years, mostly in software. I have an AA degree, but wanted to pursue a BS in Computer Science, not only for the paper but to expand my skill set. I've done some automation, but not a lot and know it's an area to improve on. I also know the BS is also a weak spot on my resume. I recently went back to school, and all classes had to be taken on campus. I have a full-time position at a great company in Denver that pays me pretty well, so having a boss that was supportive of me taking time during the day to go to classes was really helpful. He still encourages this, but I wanted to switch to an online program to have less impact on my team. I recently went through all the hoops for a university's Software Engineering program, but later found out that the last class wouldn't even be created/available until late 2021. I was shooting for 2019 or 2020, since I'm used to online classes, and going full time while working full time. Has anyone done a CS degree completely online here? Or have any universities they'd recommend?
You'll want to be on campus for the amount of math a real CPSC degree requires. You're gonna need help.

So, I was in a similar spot to you and if you take about 7-10 classes via community college/university you can actually qualify to apply for a handful of masters programs. However, I'm not sure if the schools require a bachelor degree. ASU has a good online presence/program that isn't too expensive, and you would be able to do it at night.
Thank you! I started looking at ASU but didn't know how developed their program was. I'll dig deeper!
ASU is $643 per credit hour and they require 120 hours to graduate. Plus all the usual upcharges for technology fees, etc. That's more than $77k for an online degree, pretty much the same as being on campus but without all the in-person benefits. https://asuonline.asu.edu/online-degree-programs/undergraduate/bachelor-science-software-engineering
