Job hunting rn and got reached out to by a few start up blockchain companies. I’ve never really been big on crypto/web3, but researching more about blockchain usages has been enlightening. Not sure when it’s going to catch up? What is the future? Is there any stability/future outlook/prospects from a realistic side of things? How can I judge the quality of these no-name start ups? Any advice is welcome! Pls no sarcastic comments I am actually a noob.

Koins to the Moonz
The fad has mostly run its course. NFT bubble has popped and SEC is going after exchanges. (including Coinbase) IMO upside is very limited but then again I've always been bearish on crypto for everything other than fraud/ransomware related use cases. (which cryptocurrencies excel at) RE blockchain more generally, there are few use cases where a trust-free distributed ledger could add value over a more traditional database. See James Mickens' fantastic talk for reference: https://youtu.be/15RTC22Z2xI
you've always been bearish i.e. almost always been wrong, so maybe sit down, lurk more
the bull run is starting again lmao
Blockchain is simply a database being decentralised at the cost of terrible efficiency. Aside from currency like bitcoins, to me there is no other blockchain applications that can not be solved by using traditional database
Meta gave up blockchain projects (open source) because it doesn't work for the real world. The Meta engineers quitted from Meta and use the Meta open source code to issue two tokens(Aptos, Mysten) and make huge money. Is there any new invention better than bitcoin/ethereum? NO! But it does not stop you issuing tokens and sell at a high price.
💀 ☠️ 💀 ☠️ Solution in search of problem. Blockchain is just a slow distributed database.
Blockchain technology itself is still interesting and the notion of a distributed immutable ledger probably will still have applications in the future. Scams and low value projects like NFTs have scared off investors for a while I’m sure though
Blockchain's primary use-case is to remove middleman. One example, right now Uber, Doordash, Instacart etc built their own infra, what if I build a blockchain application which can connect any type of request to whoever is available.
Web 3 is rocket fuel go all in on koins
