Money. Money. Money

Economics. Higher unemployment, less demand, lower inflation, rates then go lower.

Blame Elon, he showed them you can maintain a built product with a skeleton crew. Why does Spotify need to keep that many people on payroll when they're not innovating at this point as there's nowhere for them to grow? They're just keeping the lights on. Spotify peeps should use their knowledge and build a competitor, I think there's still room in the music streaming space for another player.

Cost of capital is too high now. Tech industry is particularly sensitive to this. Aside from that, prepping for economic uncertainty, as if Covid was not enough, major global conflicts do not help. AI will have some short / mid term effects too. But at the moment it’s not the main factor. It might be influencing mid term planning decisions though.

I remember fed printed 850 billion in 2008 in once a lifetime crisis . Now they print 1-2 trillion every now and then USD loosing value and common people purchasing Power going down . Most struggling to pay rent forget buying subscriptions
