What is your FIRE number and what you are planning to do once you achieve it? #fire
Keep working but a non stressful job 6m
30
Probably 14m, but only because my TC went up like crazy in the last few years (it feels like a waste to retire sooner, especially since I'm enjoying work) It used to be 5m
Yoe? How long at FB?
15+ 6
I have a rough goal. But I'm not defining it. I think goal setting is just gonna build expectations and disappointment. So I'm going to act as if I'm gonna get there from now itself. Starting to be FU without the FU money slowly aka taking things slow at corporate at working in personal endeavors
Yeah it's a different world in Canada, I'm thinking a nice apartment (around 1 mil) plus 2 million in investments. Plus hopefully my wife being financially secure.
4M excluding home equity. Already there and still working
Age? Yoe?
Late 30s
2M , moving to country with lower cost of living after that
After having FU money, at fundamental level I will be taking more risky endeavors.
How much is FU money? How risky? Like gamble all your wealth away risky?
5M. Haha not gambling away money. But taking more risks career wise knowing I will have FU money to fall back on.
