I’m thinking of American Big 4 (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) but open to colleges and international soccer teams. Meta == Amazon == Apple == Netflix == Google == I’ll go first: Google is the Los Angeles Lakers. TC: $300K
NBA: Meta is definitely the Los Angeles Lakers. Historically relevant but not anymore. Throwing big contracts at perceived talent with no long-term strategy. Google is the Golden State Warriors. For obvious reasons - in the Bay Area, historical innovation (Warriors were among the 1st teams to use data analytics to figure out the best court positions to take a 3) comparatively healthy and relaxed culture. They take care of their “players” (ie: employees). Amazon is The New York Knicks, the franchise makes a lot of money and gets a lot of publicity, but doesn’t take care of its players and has a “do not go there” reputation in the league. Forces players to drive 2 hours to get to its practice facility everyday. Netflix is the Miami Heat. Entertaining, attractive but always comes up just short of top tier glory. Apple is the Denver Nuggets. Not showy, no drama, consistently excellent and at the top of the game.
This is what I was expecting from everybody!! I like the Knicks analogy, was actually struggling to find out who we were but it fits
amazon = the patriots 5 years back. incredible combination of success and bad management. google = fc bayern munich. not the best, but it's kinda pointless to try to beat them in their league since they have such absolute dominance there. good people, sure, but it's questionable if they're even being challenged. meta = chicago bulls. remember when they were super good? are you old enough? ok, maybe it's too soon and this should be IBM, but depending on the timeline you're talking about, it kinda fits.
Netflix, Detroit Pistons. Look relatively weak on paper, always an underdog, but destroyed LA Lakers in the finals, just like how Netflix handled Blockbuster in the past and Disney/Warner today

Wow. Go have a drink or work out.
We’re working today at Amazon
I understand. But I mean the question feels very 5th grade level. But fine. Google = Cowboys.
