What technologies to know for Disney streaming
Basically the title of the post, I want to transition to software and work at Disney. A lot of the job posting I see say a JVM language and some web technologies. But is really helpful to learn? TC: 84k

All jokes aside. It’s mega disorganized. Structure is wild. And as a beginner it may be hard to learn. That said. If you want to come. We use databricks, snowflake, spark, airflow and aws tech stack. It is the latter, I appreciate the offer for a referral but I don’t think I’m quite at that point. I’m currently a hardware/security engineer so I have a bit of catch up to do before I feel comfortable going to tech company for software.
Companies like Amazon do employ hardware / security folks

Java is used in many places so it's worth learning.
I know Java already so I guess that’s good. Im trying to pick up Kotlin at the moment and so far so good.
