YOE: 4 years Title: SWE Living in India, current TC: 14 LPA Offers in hand: 1. Germany - a small consultancy company - 2,230 euros per month (after tax) 2. Czech Republic - Big name (brand value) - biggest competitor to VMWare - 43,000 CZK (1,615 euros per month, after tax) #compensation #salary #tech
how did you apply to both?
also what is the TC before tax?
Meh offers but Germany is better because you can try FAANG and other decent companies after a while. Probably more welcoming than Czech in terms of accepting foreigners. I doubt many Indians work in Czech.
Lived and worked in Czech. If you are darker then go to Germany (http://www.romea.cz/en/news/czech/czech-trial-of-racist-assault-on-prague-tram-eyewitnesses-can-still-come-forward-next-hearing-in-january) I am asian.
that German offer is a new grad salary, and a pretty low one as well
I would suggest waiting and applying for more companies. I had been in Germany for a while and 65-75K is median salary paid. Both offers here are below average.
None
Both offers are not good compared to your current TC. Keep interviewing for better offers. And I think I know the company which offered you the CZ job :)
That's too low for Germany. Try Delievryhero or Zalando you'd get at least 3k plus after tax. You will barely survive on thay even without a family.
Too low, do not go for either of them. You will have a tough time living there with that salary
Bad offers indeed. Dm for a referral to a company where you will get more money and interesting job. Berlin, Germany

Bad offers
Yup :( I'm not sure if I should wait and apply for more companies to get better pay. Getting calls from other countries are like lottery ticket, it is getting even difficult due to covid. Any suggestions?
Going abroad is not a lottery ticket. You should get paid for your skills wherever you go. You will save more here and lead a much better life as 14lpa gets you so much more stuff. You could try a different company in India as well
