What to expect for principal software engineer interview in MS?
I have interview coming up soon, what to expect? Guidance on preparation apart from leetcode is helpful to me.. @Microsoft

Depends on the team but expect it to be more design heavy since you are interviewing for principal level. If there are 5 rounds, expect 3:2 design:coding

Coding, system design, and behavioral around leadership and influence. Not too much different from other software engineering interviews but the bar would be high.

It's just a sad place to be, but the interview should be fairly basic. They still ask questions straight from first page of crashing thinking they are screening great candidates
