What to say during interviews about gap and pip?
I got pipped recently. I have also been doing a MS in CS part time and I will be done finally in a few months and I just want some time to study class, travel, and study for interviews after the PIP time ends. What do I tell recruiters about why there’s a gap or why I abruptly stopped working? TC: 180k YOE: 4

Wife was laid off last year. She told that her office has a “headcount reduction due to financial uncertainty”. That’s the truth and fact. She has two offers already. laid offs doesn’t mean that you are garbage.

Spent time in MS, took a break and rejuvenated yourself.
Or just put years on resume with no months.
Just say you took time off to travel and enjoy your fucking life. Nobody really cares
