Hello blinders.. Which and when did you learn your first programming language?
Why don’t we have python?
Not so many people are young enough to learn Python as their 1st language, I guess
It's kinda 20-something years old, grandpa
Pascal: still remember those begin/end.
I still use a lot of begin and end everyday in SQL. Pascal was a pain. Especially when you had to declare all the variables before starting to use anything.
Yes 🙂 luckily for me, it was just a part of my programming class at highschool, and I never had to work with it on a big project.
LOGO . Where is LOGO? The LOGO turtle is awesome!
PHP
My condolences
Lol
Who are all these gangstas that learnt C before Basic?
Me
SQL
That’s a Query Language not a programming language. Go back to datamining soccermoms.
@Product if we are to be real precise about it, SQL is a standard. Many vendors provide SQL implementations. You could write any sort of computation - declarative or procedural using different flavors of SQL.
Where the fuck is perl
Srsly https://xkcd.com/519/
Ironically I actually learned Perl because I know who did XKCD and I asked him how to code a website.
Bash
Scratch
Is it that visual programming language where you drag and drop constructs ?
Yes, from MIT
