A lot has been said about savers but what about stock owners. Are Vanguard and BlackRock in trouble? TC 300k
Vanguard has trillions in asset, this is miniscule part of that. No effect on them at all.
Blackrock has 10T AUM, do you really think that fate of 200B will affect them severely?
All the big boys sold there shit Thursday and Friday pre market Only ones left holding the bag is retail folks, although the big boys definitely took a hit but not a 90% loss
Your 401K gets fucked, fund companies are going to get their cut irrespective of what happens.
Mutual funds lose their assets here but it doesn’t matter. 401k’s dropped like 20% last year, even if they got literally nothing from SVB’s shares that’s a smaller loss than just a random day in the market. SVB is not that big of a player
Vanguard is not a public company. It is owned by its clients and crew members. They don’t have to answer wall street. There will be almost a very minute impact to Vanguard with some changes in their revenues. Blackrock might see some changes to its share price but nothing major TBH.
Stock holders will get wiped out
Major market crash on Monday. We’re all fucked.
Same info was available on Friday
Only Roblox crash
