If you were to build a new social media platform, how would you police it? I've noticed a few things: - Anonymity creates hateful, aggressive, biased, misleading content. Example: Reddit, Twitter. - Anonymity with some verification creates honest, blunt, aggressive, biased content. Example: Blind. - Identification creates duplicate, cringy content. Example: LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube. I understand the problem is more related to sociology and psychology. If we look at it from a tech and policy point of view, how would we build one? What would be the tradeoffs? Examples? #Reddit #Twitter #BlindApp #LinkedIn #TikTok #YouTube
There is never one size fits all.
That's true. If you were to build one, who would be your targeted audience and how would you structure it?
4chan is already the perfect social media platform.
How so?
Almost completely anonymous, with little to no moderation.
You should somehow mix Blind with OnlyFans
Not a bad idea! How would you do it?
If knew that I'd have done it already
How the fuck is blind honest?
Excellent observations and good questions. Dm if you want to build a new social media and need a TnS person to keep members safe:)
Thank you! I'll keep you in mind.
Blind is also very aggressively moderated

If you want to ask for suggestions, why impose your biased opinions?
It's what I "noticed" so it's obviously biased. I didn't write "from my research, it shows". There's no problem or connection between my biased view and the ask for suggestions. The *fact that you didn't answer any of my questions but started with a loaded question shows nothing but your biased and judgmental view.
Lyft demonstrated biased opinion #2 so unironically.
