Whats a good tech stack for a project?

I am taking a course where its up to us what tech we use for a project. I was thinking of using the MERN stack with AWS. I want something that will look good on my resume because I will be graduating soon. Thoughts on MERN stack with AWS? Would there be a different tech stack you would use? Any guidance would be appreciated.

That's pretty good. If you have time to learn a new language, use something sexier on the backend like Elixir or Golang.

Keep it retro and use LAMP.

Depends on what you want to build? It must want to build something simple and lightweight, firebase is fine.
