I was laid off from indeed in March. Landed on my feet on an analytics engineering team for a software start up. Team is fine but I’m interested in my next move being manufacturing related in 2-3 years. I’m mildly technical, a next logical step from this team would be a data engineering gig at either this spot or another software company. I’ve got a graduate degree in economics. What should one do to be gainfully employed in manufacturing making decent money? Is a lean six sigma cert from ASQ worth pursuing? Pretty confident the statistics of that wouldn’t be a huge lift to learn. TC:$145k
