Looking to move my family to Dallas. Anyone know which companies are the best for engineering and engineering leadership?
If you are on H1b, Dallas market sucks. Otherwise, there is almost every company in Dallas area. You just have to pick. By the way Dallas metro is over 70 miles end 2 end. Pick a suburb close to work
Lots of big names have been moving to Plano
What big names are in Plano?
Boeing Toyota JMPC JPC HPE intuit capitalOne have big presence in Plano. I heard some talk that AllState May be moving in soon. Some Indian SI companies like Wipro and Infosys also have plans to setup RnD centers here
Toyota in Plano has a reputation for high employee job satisfaction.
Agreed. Two of my friends work there. Have heard only good things
Dallas is pretty good. Nice weather, flight connectivity, schools, jobs, low cost.. excellent place to start some local business alongside job..
You are right. The only problem is that most jobs are enterprise in nature rather than startup type. Austin is more vibrant when it comes to cutting edge tech and free and open culture. For me enterprise culture sucks.
Nice weather? C'mon. If you love staying indoors and perfuse sweating 9 months of the year when you go outside, sure
Gluent are based in Dallas. Might be worth looking at. No idea about pay
