Imagine if you were a politician who has the Eagle Act in front of him and need to decide to vote. What would you choose? If you vote Yes for Eagle Act- Pros- It sounds fair. Cons- You make your voter base (a lot of Americans who think that Indians are taking their jobs) mad and the right wing media will portray you as an American hater. You get fewer people in from Mexico which will get mad if you let Indians became citizens and not them which will have a ripple effect across other Latinos. You make 40million first generations (who were not born in india) Americans unhappy by choosing Indians over them. In your mind you’ll think that let’s just make Indians suffer because otherwise everyone would need to wait for 15+ years. Please vote by keeping your personal views and situation aside, think of yourself as a politicians who wants to appease the voter base and do what’s right for his/her own career.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Look at it the other way, some Latinos come in illegally and still go into becoming citizens but you don't see the Indian diaspora hating on them. Don't see why it would hold true the other way around.
I would play a sport within my own country and call myself a world champion
I would say hockey is the only major sport in the US where another country could actually beat the best US team, so it makes sense that baseball, football and basketball leagues call themselves world champions when it’s well known there is no real competition outside the US.
You could have rephrased your shit post as “Please ask your representative to vote no for eagle act”
7% for every country, why should we be biased towards Indians and ignore every other
I would vote no. Basic Tenet Equal Access to all and that is accomplished by the 7% Cap. Issues are there because H1b is not merit but a phreaking lottery ,If you fix H1b & actually make it a Merit. wage check, US education and Experience. I think a lot of ppl would be good with Cap Removal. I do support provision for age-out kids and visa recapture.
Quality shitpost 😂😂😂
