I was just caught up in the layoffs, but as a recruiter can tell you: FAANG will get you onsite quicker than anything else. That's the best signal we could get.
What do recruiters think of people who’ve worked at an Elon company?
Really probably depends on the tech you're working on and working with. A lot of the software work close to the hardware at Tesla e.g. has a lot of crossover.
Why? Because you can memorize algorithmic leetcode answers and then have a cushy gig where you're not pushing yourself to continuously learn? I don't know about the results of this poll... as a hiring manager, engineers in a fast paced environment that learn quickly and want to challenge themselves are more attractive to me.
Oh right because you’ll totally pick up in an interview that a candidate likes to “learn quickly and wants to challenge themselves” 😅
The fact that they didn't choose to go work for an incredibly large company says a lot to me, yes
Leetcode grandmaster
The only strong signal is personal recommendation. 🤷♂️
