What’s the best team to join at Google right now?
Looking for the best team for SWE role at L4 level. I’m flexible and I have a finance background. I hope to eventually move towards google brain if possible.

I don’t mind stepping away from finance. Mostly interested in eventually being able to pivot to Brain at some point. As I understand I can’t go straight to brain as it’s mostly PhDs
Yeah, Brain is all research. You may join the Google Cloud team and get to work on AutoML at some point, which can be a way to join the Brain team. But, unless you are a scholar on AI (PhD, research work) and have several known publications, joining the Brain team would be impossible.

Fi is good too, growing business. Would recommend staying away from Hangouts related teams, but honestly even they're probably fine
