College hire, now 3yrs at MS and L61. My current team has really good wlb, ok coworkers, and bad growth prospects (despite our attempts we have nothing in production and no revenue, and I think our current project won’t succeed either). Overall, I want to leave to find more tc elsewhere and hopefully improve the other aspects too. My last stock vest is may 15 after which tc will drop dramatically. Should I start looking now, and walk away from that stock vest? Or try to time it to leave right after may 15, which I think means starting applications early March? Maybe stay longer still to be employed jul 1 and get annual bonus? Please advise in comments! Tc200
Your "last" vest isn't the last vest. If they want to keep you they'll keep offering new grants and refreshers.
