What’s the career path to becoming a GM at a tech company?
I’m in analytics. No idea how to get to GM.

Former GM here. First assuming you are talking about a product GM ata large company you have to actually have had 10+ years experience building products. typical route is PM but once you get high enough level you will always have a shot. Then either play politics until a position opens up, or play politics and try to create a new business area. Having an MBA May or may not help.
