I sometimes see Lyft employees post shade on their Chief Product Officer and I’m not sure why. What’s the deal here? Lyft is a great product and I wish it the best. There are things I wish Uber did better in terms of messaging (e.g. surge pricing vs Primetime), and I admire the simplicity and focus of the Lyft app.
90% of the 75% have never worked with Tali 🤨
Can you go into detail why?
Interesting. Check your DMs. Let's chat more about this over DM.
VP of Product, not CPO. Many more are responsible. She’s one of the sharpest at Lyft. Down to earth, customer focused, but yea occasionally lost in the weeds. She’s a scapegoat for engineers who never have to work with her. The way she is treated anonymously is ridiculous.
Why called out engineers? Do you have proof that all attackers are engineers?
I think there was a separate post that showed it was mostly engineers that complained (the ratio in general is mostly eng because there are so many more). FWIW I’m a PM and think Tali is really, really good. Better than previous VPs of product I’ve worked with.
