Was considering applying to Rally Health in the Washington DC office, but have been hearing about some turbulence with the United Health acquisition. Considering there are not a ton of options in the DC area, is it still worth applying? TC 130k 3 YOE
Atleast as far as i know 20 people left in last 6-8 weeks attrition is high due ti significant compensation and benefits change
In engineering compensation went up.
Unless someone shows you their new offer letter dont believe because i have seem the new numbers are they are worst
Engineers are leaving left and right. Last week I saw 3 "good bye" emails from folks I knew pretty well. Some of the most important engineers also left. Rally is trying to back fill the engineers that leave but at this point I just feel sorry for the new hires. They don't know what they are getting into
They are joining because they couldn't get anywhere else better π See we are not paying that high salary either π
Some of the new folks on my team seem pretty competent. I'm wondering why they settled for rally health. And yea our comp is awful lol. I got a few offers recently and my TC is going to increase by 2 times or more
It should be fine. Send an email asking status.

What turbulence? We'll be part of Optum come September 26th. It's still worth applying.
I heard that attrition is through the roof and that new management with the merger is changing things for the worse. Hopefully not the case?
Engineering is not affected. Product and PjMs are on chopping block. Now many people already resigned and any open positions are to fill those.
