Every ride i request now is for a driver always 9-10 min away even though i can see drivers on the map? Yes, theyre pool but in the past we were still able to get drivers 2-4 min away and coriders going the same way. Whats up? The difference between uber wait times and lyft wait times are drastic now

Is it Express? Express makes me wait at least 10 minutes but it usually 30% cheaper than lyft pool. Looks like a strategy to push customers to ubee pool
Yes express. But pool is about the same?
Naw dawg, pools' wait times are usually 3-4 minutes for me, comparable to lyft pool
They purposely try to make it frustrating so you go with an X. There’s also massive correlation between low price deals and additional passenger pickup radius as well as wait times
Walk more often
It’s due to the Uber Uncertainty Principle, which states that Uber cannot simultaneously make both drivers and passengers happy. 🤔
This is the correct and only explanation i will accept 😂😂
I once requested a ride (not pooling). The driver was close but not moving at all for about 10min (although the initial estimate was 5 min). Then I called. She said she came from her home and I was the 1st customer. So, I figured she just accepted my request and despite not being ready to start driving.
There was this controversy saying that map with those cars are fake, and Uber just uses it to simulate drivers in the area and that’s why you never see one of those becoming selected as your car. That was a while ago and would be very curious if that’s true or if in fact it’s real.
Thats possible but im in the heart of sf. I refuse to believe there are any less than 4 or 5 uber drivers within 2-3 minutes of anywhere in heart of sf at any given time lol
They probably all have riders
