I don't really know enough, but it looks like they're banking on crypto. As a crypto investor myself, I don't think this will work. It'll be a waste of money from PayPal.

I haven’t seen PayPal innovating in a meaningful way. They are putting their focus in the right places now, I think, but hard to tell if they’ll keep up with competitors imo
