I'm considering going to a financial advisor (fiduciary) to help with my finances / portfolio (worth about 500k) to build a solid portfolio that'd would generate passive income and to diversify. So far, I had been passively managing it . I'm contemplating my options between 1) fully managed by them (they make decisions based on goals set by us) 2) advised by them and transactions administered by me The fee is significant for option 1 (1.5%) and very nominal for the second . I'd like to hear people's experience working with financial advisors and how their portfolio did it doing. Also welcome are recommendations on which firms/banks to go with . I use personal capital and it's pretty good. You get an advisor and it's cheaper than some of the other ones out there. App is good too. I have a fully managed account because of trading restrictions with my company. Dm if you want a referral link
