When Red Hat gives the TC to new employees. - What they say about the VIC?

Anyone new at Red Hat? When they give the TC to a newcomer, do they explain the variable incentive compensation (VIC) bonus with the new stack-ranking approach we are categorizing all the associates? You get a 15% on your professional category, but: - We usually fund a 60% - If you do your work you will get 80% of that. - We will be taking in consideration your position in the stack for promotions. I have 11 associates and I have to give 125% to 3 people. These 3 people are the drivers of some of the components I'm in charge with. Now, what happens with the rest of my team? I'm really frustrated because I'm not actually able to compensate their effort and work.... And any of them will take any driver-role in the near future so it is impossible to create an environment where they feel motivated..

This is a real problem and lots of people are leaving because of shitty retention and compensation strategies
