When should you jump the gun?

Currently I am in pretty decent position in my career. My current company is good. My role is good. I have got 3 promotions in 5 years including engineering manager bump to management band. But the only negative about this is with every promotion there was no salary jump/adjustment done. My company used to be publicly traded now is privately owned so all I have is paper money in terms of stocks. But currently my team is awesome, my work is good and I am planning to start a family soon. So not sure when should I switch the company. Any inputs are appreciated. You did not get 3 promotions in 5 years, you got 3 resposibility scope increases for free in 5 years.

Yes that's the reason I want to jump the gun but not sure how and when specially when I am trying to start a family and markets are bad.

Promoted without a salary adjustment?! Makes no sense. So basically i could join as a janitor, and get promoted to a manager and never get an increase.

You are staying there because of inertia. Things aren’t good.Whats your YOE? 200k TC with paper money with no light at the end of tunnel isn’t looking very good for a 7 YOE.
